Forwarding Emails from Other Accounts

You can forward emails from preexisting accounts (such as Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, AOL, and Hotmail) to your SafeBolt Mail account. Here are guidelines on how to do this on each platform. 


  1. On your computer, open Gmail using the account you want to forward messages from. You can only forward messages for a single Gmail address, and not an email group or alias.
  2. In the top right, click the Settings icon
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Click the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.
  5. In the "Forwarding" section, click Add a forwarding address.
  6. Enter your SafeBolt email address.
  7. Click Next, then Proceed, then OK.
  8. A verification message will be sent to your SafeBolt email address. Click the verification link in that message.
  9. Go back to the settings page for the Gmail account you want to forward messages from, and refresh your browser.
  10. Click the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.
  11. In the "Forwarding" section, select Forward a copy of incoming mail to.
  12. Choose what you want to happen with the Gmail copy of your emails. We recommend Keep Gmail's copy in the Inbox.
  13. At the bottom of the page, click Save Changes.


  1. Mouse over the Settings menu icon and select Settings.
  2. Click Accounts.
  3. Click the primary Yahoo account.
  4. Go down and select Forward.
  5. Enter your SafeBolt email address.
  6. Select Store and forward or Store and forward and mark as read.
  7. Click Verify. A verification email will be sent to your SafeBolt email address.
  8. Click Save


  1. Click the Settings icon in the Outlook Mail on the web toolbar.
  2. Go to the Mail > Accounts > Forwarding category on the Options screen.
  3. Make sure Start forwarding is selected under Forwarding. (Select Stop forwarding to prevent Outlook Mail on the web from forwarding any more messages.)
  4. Enter your SafeBolt email address under Forward my email to.
  5. If you want to keep copies of forwarded messages at Outlook Mail on the web at, make sure Keep a copy of forwarded messages is checked.
  6. Click Save


  1. Click the Settings tab at the top of your AOL email homepage.
  2. Click General Settings and click the tab that reads Forwarding.
  3. Select the option that reads Forward a copy of incoming mail to: by clicking the dot in front of this option.
  4. In the tab provided, enter your SafeBolt email address. 
  5. Click Save Changes


  1. Click on the Settings icon in the toolbar in the top right-hand corner of the page. 
  2. Scroll down when the drop-down appears. Then click on View full settings
  3. In the Mail section, select Forwarding
  4. Check Start forwarding. Enter your SafeBolt email address into the box. Then check Keep a copy of forwarded messages below the box if you want to have a copy of the forwarded messages in your inbox. 
  5. Click on the Save button in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
